County Fairs
It’s summertime in Northern California.. so the Alameda and Marin County Fairs are in full swing.
The Marin County Fair is our hands down favorite. They have great exhibits – we saw the Star Wars Props there one year and a model of the Golden Gate Bridge tower another time exciting fireworks, interesting artwork, and a light and bright midway!
July
4th of July
We have some delightful 4th Of July Parades… my favorites are Alameda and Piedmont’s, with Claremont neighborhood’s Round Park parade being my Berkeley Favorite.
The best fireworks? I’d give that to the Marin County Fair, Berkeley’s festival at the Marina, Richmond Marina Craneway Pavilion and San Francisco.
And for family fun … the Berkeley Marina, Albany’s Memorial Park, and El Cerrito’s World One Festival – World Music and Circus
