We’ve got our eye on fun things for you to do on Halloween
There are lots of events on Friday 30 Oct.
Friday morning the Thousand Oaks School has a parade at the top of Solano Avenue – there’s no parking 9 am to noon, but I’m not sure of the parade time
Friday evening 6-8 pm there’s a free movie “Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein” at Ray’s Pumpkin Patch at 1245 Solano Avenue in Albany. There’s even free popcorn and hot chocolate!
Friday at 6 pm there’s also a mask contest – with a $300 prize! It starts at Grace North Church, and a candlelight procession around North Berkeley ending at Peet’s Flagship Store at Walnut and Vine
The Elmwood Claremont Neighborhood has some great displays on Russell Street, between Pine and Claremont… and the best pumpkin carvings I’ve ever seen at the corner of Ashby and Piedmont Avenues. This is worth a drive by
