Berkeley Earth Day brings the Bay Area environmental community together to celebrate our vision for a sustainable future. Get inspired and connect with eco-minded comrades and learn how you can further reduce your impact on the planet and have fun doing it! This event features dozens of vendors sharing their delicious sustainable foods, eco-friendly products, and epic activism.
Berkeley Earth Day is excited to feature the Wild & Scenic Film Fest. These films transform viewers to become committed activists, dedicated to saving our increasingly threatened planet and include an optional series of short films for children.

A CELEBRATION OF OUR ENVIRONMENT! The Wild & Scenic Film Festival comes to Berkeley!
Join us as we celebrate Earth Day as Citizens Climate Lobby and Our Children’s Trust hosts the Wild and Scenic Film Festival On Tour at the David Brower Center in downtown Berkeley. Berkeley’s On Tour program will include three sessions drawn from a collection of films from the 16th annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival.
10:30 AM to 12:30 PM – Wild Child – 21 and under FREE, General $12
1:00-3:00PM – California and the West – General $15, Students $10
3:30-5:30PM – Resistance and ReCreation – General $15, Students $10
The annual Festival is produced by SYRCL (the South Yuba River Citizens League) in order to share their success with other environmental organizations and showcase frontline activism and stunning cinematography. The Festival, now shown in 170 communities around the globe, is building a network of grassroots organizations connected by a common goal of using film to inspire activism. With the support of National Partners: Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, CLIF Bar, Earth Justice, Klean Kanteen, Peak Design and Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, the festival is reaching an even larger audience to inspire people around the world to act on behalf of the environment.
