My brother Bruce is visiting us from Long Island, and he’s an avid golfer.
He booked the Tilden Park Golf Course for 2 pm today, and after 40 years of dufferhood, made his very first hole-in-one this afternoon!
Now, I’m no golfer. I did 18 holes about 20 years ago, and decided not to repeat the experience … but it was a delight to see the amazingly large grin on his face as he came back from the links

Bruce has been bragging that his ace was better than mine because his was on a 199 yard hole while mine was only on a 159 yd. hole. However, since mine occurred ten years ago, Bruce had to live with the knowledge that my links feat bettered any of his for a full decade. That’s why I still have hair and he doesn’t.
