At 10:00 am on Saturday 20 Aug 2011, Apple’s new store in Berkeley’s Fourth Street Neighborhood held their grand opening.
Hundreds of people, including Bernt Wahl [who has the amazing email address of berkeley at gmail dot com] and Dave & Mary Nicely, were there to welcome the Apple Store to Berkeley.
Yesterday (23 Aug 2011) I was in the South Bay, and drove by Apple Headquarters in Cupertino to take a photo of One Infinite Loop.
I know that if weren’t for Steve Jobs, Apple’s Infinite Loop would have been finite.
Little did I know that today, Wed 24 Aug 2011, Steve Jobs would resign as CEO of Apple.
So this video is not just about the Apple Store’s Grand Opening, but a thank you to Steve Jobs.
Thank you, Steve. Your vision made it possible for you and many others to prosper.
May you live long in good health.
