365 Things To Do In Berkeley #17 – Attend North Shattuck/Gourmet Ghetto’s Annual Spice Of Life Festival!

by Ira Serkes on October 16, 2010

Sunday 17 Oct 2010 is North Shattuck’s 8th Annual North Berkeley Spice of Life Festival.  It’s so much fun, I created a youtube video to give you a sneak preview of the cooking demonstrations, music, food, kids’ rides, crafts and special events in store for you!  Click on the image below to visit our Youtube site – the video will be live as soon as youtube finishes processing it.

This Sunday is Sunday’s Spice of Life Festival on North Shattuck.

What awaits you? Wonderful food, great music, beautiful crafts, farmer’s market, and local restaurants.

But wait – there’s more – food cooking displays, wine, food tastings, pony rides, a climbing wall, and more!

This is a great festival – on a much more intimate scale than our 1-mile long block party, the Solano Stroll.

Here’s where to go to find out more about North Berkeley, and homes for sale.

1803 Cedar is a great place – near Shattuck Avenue, North Berkeley BART and Hopkins Street Shops
